Vivian Deloris Norman Scholarship Foundation

Since 2010, each Memorial Day Weekend, the Scholarship Committee and  friends sponsor 2 events.  The Saturday Night Alumni Basketball Game and the Family Fun Day in the Park on Sunday, which brings the community together in an effort to raise funds to support the scholarship drive.  To date, thirteen scholarships have been given to students attending colleges and universities all over eastern North Carolina. Local Fire Dept. & Police on hand to insure community of their resources.  In addition, there is lots of  food, fun and games for children, baseball, basketball, music, and vendor to display their wares.
